IDG Webcast FAQs.

WHAT IS AN IDG WEBCAST?
An online video and/or audio event providing educational information to IT and business professionals. Each webcast lasts up to one hour.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
You can attend a webcast at any time as long as you have an internet link. It’s easy to access, free to attend, fast and effective.
WHAT SUBJECTS ARE COVERED?
IDG editors moderate the webcasts to deliver only relevant and independent information. Subjects cover IT and business solutions such as security, mobility, converged communications or technical topics such as service orientated architectures, 64 bit computing or datacentres.
ARE EVENTS LIVE?
Most of the IDG Webcasts are live so we can provide the opportunity for you to interact with the speakers, participate in polls and submit questions - all in real time.
HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
Register for forthcoming and on demand events by clicking 'Watch Now' next to each event. You'll be sent an email to confirm your registration and a link to attend the event.
WHAT TECHNOLOGY DO I NEED?
A broadband connection and Windows Media Player or RealPlayer. We'll send you an email following registration to test that your PC or laptop is compatible.
WHAT OTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE?
Each webcast offers further information such as case studies, research reports, white papers and speaker biographies.
ARE THE WEBCASTS IN LOCAL LANGUAGE?
IDG webcasts are run by the local editor in each country, in local language with localised content relevant to your market.
